l've invested many years into the dreams of brides and grooms and seeing the smile on their faces on their special day. My journey began in the 80's working with my then husband who was a freelance photographer doing weddings. There were very few brides who had "Same Day Coordinators". Organizational skills are very important for a wedding day to run smoothly. I stepped in and filled that need. Working behind the scene with brides, bridal parties and special family members is essential in making dreams come true. Taking the worry out of the details is my specialty. Every couple and especially the bride needs a soft and safe place to fall during their wedding season and on their wedding day.

 I was the bride who was creative and had most of her ideas all laid out. I just needed someone that was versed in the industry to guide me and give me tips and tricks along the way. Not to mention someone who could stress to me how important a Day of Coordinator would be! I had done months and months of planning for this special day and then I was waiting to walk down the aisle when it all hit me! I realized I am not out there running the show to ensure that all of my plans came to fruition. That was left in the hands of the Venue Coordinator and my aunt who I had, let’s just say lightly gone over the details of my ceremony and reception with. I can sadly admit now that I did not set her up for success. Even though my guests had a great time and talked about my wedding years after it was over I knew that it could’ve been so much better. Along my 18 month engagement journey my mother was my backbone and go to person.  For all of my wedding info and many crazy ideas, she helped me turn my engagement journey into my dream wedding season. My mini tragedies and setbacks led me to want to set up other “boss brides” to dreamtastic triumphs. I decided I wanted to assist other DIY beautiful brides in their journey and I could not do it without my mother being involved. So we teamed up to guide couples from proposal to I do. Often times hands on brides have a pretty good idea of what they want and they want to be involved in the process. That is where we come into the dream, by coaching you, consulting and coordinating for you. This can be done as much or as little as you like up until the big day. We empower you so the blueprint that is created will blossom into a wonderful wedding day. We will take the stress off of worrying about the little details so you can focus on marrying the love of you life. We came up with the name Capricorn Dream Weddings because my mother and I are both Capricorns with our birthdays a day apart. We are dedicated, goal driven and determined to lead each bride and groom down the aisle of their dream wedding day. Our philosophy is to merge wonderful traditions with modern flares. What better way to do that then with a dynamic mother daughter duo.
